Tuesday 9th of September, National Park Torres del Paine, the 8th marvel of the world?

I am impressed. Today has been one of these days where you decide, yep, I will forever say this is one of the most impressive things I have seen in my life...

I had a tour booked to go around, during the day, through the national park of Montes del Paine, very close to Puerto Natales. In actual fact the sole purpose of this town seems to be to serve the thousands of tourists coming to hike or visit the park. It is low season now so it was very quite but we had an amazing day with hardly any clouds and I think in high season you do not get to see these marvells topped with snow!

The tour started at 8 a.m., we had a van with around 12 people in, a very nice Chilean guide who talked us through the main areas in the park in both english and spanish and we rolled around doing a number of stops to either hike a little, walk around or eat, and of course take a heck of a lot of pictures.
