Next steps of trip in stand by due to bad weather

So! The plan was that on Thursday I would leave Mendoza across the Andes and towards Santiago de Chile, by bus.
That was a great plan as aparently the sights are pretty amazing as the pass goes through the andes and close to the Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Americas (the 2 of them...).
Except that when I went to check on the buses today they told me the pass is closed due to bad weather... damn!!

Apparently estimation is it may be ok Friday-Saturday but nothing sure. So now I have to go and check everyday to see when I can get through!!
Alternative emergency option is take a plane. With prices close to 500 euros... good thing that I dont need to be in Santiago till Monday... only problem is Mendoza does not have that much to do!!

Boy am I going to drink wine....
