Today I was meaning to get up early to go to Valparaiso but when I opened my eye at 8, I dediced I couldn't be bothered, turned around and went back to sleep! So I have had a wonderful slow day of much staying in bed a bit of reading and a visit to the cerro San Cristobal. This is a biggish hill in the north of the city. It takes something like 3Km of steep paths to get to the top, where a big virgin Mary image stands gazing down at the city of Santiago. The views were well worth it!!
